·         Then, in Security tab, choose the SYSTEM user, tap on Allow checkbox besides Full Control.

·         Hit on Ok to make an exit from Properties.

·         Then go to QuickBooks, try the update again.

 

Solution 5: Close all conflicting programs

During the update process, turn off all unwanted apps in the background using the Task manager.

·         Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete., then click on Processes tab.

·         Choose all unwanted processes and then End them one by one.

·         Do the same in the Services tab also. Also, close any other open windows in the background.

·         Now, run QuickBooks, then go to Help, then Update QuickBooks Desktop.



·         Then, Reset updates, and then Get Updates.

·         When over, open QB again and install these updates.

·         Error code 1321 should be resolved in QuickBooks.
